It had rained heavily for a couple of days and fungi would be popping up - it was time to go exploring! When I found this fungi with it's head above the clover I decided to use a polarising filter on my macro lens as the wet foliage was reflecting quite a bit of glare. The polariser did a great job of not only cutting the glare but also saturating the colour.
